I made this for fun. The quote is from “Freaks, Geeks and Asperger’s Syndrome.” The author was pointing out how designating the intense preferred interests of people with ASD is at times arbitrary and unfair, considering what “neurotypical” people can be like when they are practicing their own intense interests.
Actually, many of my clients and friends on the autism spectrum are into spectator sports way more than I am! But some people with autism can feel alienated during the bowl game season, I imagine.
Take care. Go Patriots!
